Aidan Girt has spent half of his life playing drums in the Godspeed you! black emperor collective and making home made beat oriented long winded political music under the alias OSB, named for a sort of glue and chip board material common in the North American construction industry. He lives up in the Lower Laurentians in a forest with two kids and a cat.
"Ah just listened to the original tracks and smoked some cannabis and started rearranging until it started sounding like something and then tried to make it sound good the next day while sober. I very often work this way, chaos into nonsense into order, a tune needs a diversity of tactics like a movement does, we all need some fun and then some reflection and then some hard work. But it’s easy when the original material is solid, as a movement moves easily when the people behind it are solid."

I just spent two weeks in Sofia, and they were the most memorable in my life. The music by Stefan Christoff seems to catch the atmosphere I felt when being in this wonderful city - I'm glad to have found this magic music by a great piano player. And so I can warmly recommend these pieces to anyone who loves Sofia/Bulgaria and Keith Jarrett, come to think of. Nicolas
